Ecocertification allows Plysorol to guarantee the follow-up and traceability of its wood originating from forest concessions managed according to the principle and ideal of sustainable resource development.
The raw material used by the French sites comes from peeled Okoume logs imported from Gabon and veneers produced by the Gabonese subsidiary, POGAB.
PLYSOROL manages the Okoume resource according to the principles of sustainable development. This is managed on 2 levels:
- THE LOGS: Come from our forest concessions; they are monitored from felling to peeling (traceability).
- THE VENEERS: The POGAB peeling factory in Libreville, with a production capacity of 40,000m3, is the PLYSOROL’s 4th factory and is an integral part of its industrial organisation. Its entire production is shipped to the three French sites.
