The LISIEUX site is situated near the port of HONFLEUR, an important timber port on the Normandy coast. Its geographical location gives it a certain advantage for the Dutch market which represents an important part of its export turnover.
Production of the first Okoume veneers for plywood panels started in 1912. These panels contributed to the development of the aeronautic industry as early as 1914.
Nowadays, the factory, installed on a 12-hectare site, is continuing to develop and is now fully equipped for peeling all sizes of veneers available on the market in order to produce a wide range of products suitable for very varied uses.
For example: Train and bus floors, the nautical industry, wooden wall cladding and many other industrial applications. All of these panels are also exhibited in wood and construction material wholesalers and on DIY store shelves.
