The ISO procedure as a management tool

PLYROSOL’s management, attentive to the fact that its entire staff is actively involved in systematically trying to provide our customers with the greatest possible satisfaction, has engaged in an ambitious certification procedure.

The ISO 9001:2000 standard focuses on customer satisfaction, transparency of the processes used and the continual improvement procedure. It uses numerous tools to ensure that each stage of product production meets customers’ expectations. In this sense, the management’s commitment and the definition of a quality policy shared by all are essential for clearly defining the entire procedure and providing the company with development perspectives.

Other elements are also fundamental for the procedure’s effectiveness such as procurement expertise, product production processes, staff training and skill monitoring. All of the objectives are monitored regularly via performance indicators and scorecards. In addition to the basic tools required for the ISO 9001:2000 standards (non-compliance reports, corrective and preventive action sheets), PLYSOROL has developed an Annual Quality Improvement Plan for the sake of efficiency as well as project sheets for all of its activities.

In addition to rationalising its organisation, PLYSOROL Management expects this procedure to contribute to greater customer satisfaction and loyalty.
