  CE Marking

A required marking

< The CE marking logo, introduced on 1st April 2003, has been compulsory for all wood-used panels used in sustainable construction since 1st April 2004.
CE marking certifies that the identified products comply with the 6 essential requirements set out in the European directive 89/106/CEE on construction products and that they can therefore be launched on the market without any other formalities.

CE Structure marking implies, in addition to initial production validation, that an independent notified body checks the internal control arrangements implemented by the panel manufacturer and their compliance with the requirements set out in the harmonised EN 13986 standard "Wood-based panels for use in construction; Characteristics, evaluation of conformity and marking".
Conversely, panels with simple CE marking (or CE "G") only commit the manufacturer (no external control of CE marking compliance)..

All okoume and poplar (non fireproofed) plywood panels in the PLYSOROL range are certified CE Structure certified (CE "S" or CE "2+").
Corresponding certificate numbers: 0380; D; 11, 1113, 1121, 1123, 1131, 1133.

All PLYSOROL fireproofed plywood panels for use in construction are CE-certified (Level 1 compliance certificate).
Corresponding certificate numbers: 0380; CPD; 1122, 1124, 1132, 1134.
