Forests represent for tropical countries in particular and for the whole Earth in general, a source of wealth essential for their equilibrium and the preservation of ecosystems.

Plysorol, conscious of these stakes, was the first company to launch a pioneering action for the conservation of tropical forests in the Congo basin and its fauna and flora: the actual idea of sustainable development ahead of its time.

This initiative led it to create EUROKOUME in 1991, the first ecolabel and the symbol of a responsible attitude with respect for the conservation of future resources.

This approach, which made Plysorol a forerunner in its field, finally materialized in 2003 when it was officially recognised by independent external bodies and obtained certifications testifying to the seriousness, importance and durability of its perennity initiatives.
